Previous post: Gym Diaries Part 1: Ouch!
In Part 1 of this series, I gave you a bit of introduction about my previous attempts at being physically active throughout my life. And a summary of my first day back at the gym after 1.5-2 years of not going.
This past week I actually went 4 days to the gym! Not bad, huh?
At first, I was nervous about hurting myself, so I tried not to push myself that much. But then I didn't feel satisfied, LOL! So I started pushing myself a bit more. I had a training session with a professional trainer on Sunday and, oh boy, now I can't go up/down the stairs because my legs hurt so much!
I also tried to go at different times to see if there were more/fewer people. In summary:
Tuesday 8pm: so full.
Thursday 630pm: still so full. 😩
Friday 730am: there were some people (amazingly), but it wasn't that full.
Sunday 11am: more or less the same amount as Friday morning.
Based on this, I think I'll try to go more often on Friday/Sunday mornings, but I don't think I can get up Mon-Thur haha. I'll just have to learn to be a team player and wait for the machines to be available for me to use. ohwell 🤷♀️
